Facelift
Facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgery performed to rejuvenate the face. When properly performed, a facelift is completely natural looking, giving the patient a more youthful and rested appearance.
The areas of the face treated by a facelift include the nasolabial folds running from the nostrils to the corners of the mouth, jowls, crepey, wrinkled skin, and the ropey, sagging skin of the neck (the so-called “turkey gobbler neck”).
A facelift can counteract the effects of aging, sun damage, or smoking on the jawline, the neck, and the cheek area. Dr. Siporin has done a highly regarded facial aesthetic surgery fellowship, during which he did hundreds of facelifts with a prominent plastic surgeon.
This makes Dr. Siporin very qualified to evaluate you and to determine a facial rejuvenation plan that meets your unique and individual needs.
During your evaluation, Dr. Siporin will explain all of the alternatives, from the simplest, to the most complex, and he will make suggestions based on your goals and preferences. Dr. Siporin does a thorough evaluation, and takes ample time to assure that you have all of the knowledge required to make an informed decision.
Dr. Siporin will explain in detail all potential complications, the surgery procedure itself, and the recovery period. Surgery is performed in an outpatient surgery center, and can be performed under general or “twilight” anesthesia. Most patients require two weeks of recovery before they are back to normal activities and without signs of surgery but individual variations exist.

Dr. Siporin is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network.
