Do you recommend a combination of procedures such as tummy tuck and breast work? I would like a tummy tuck and a breast enlargement. It would be so nice if I could get this all done at one time.
Answer:
This can be done at one time and many surgeons do this. However, you need to be evaluated by a qualified plastic surgeon who can examine you, get a detailed medical history and explains to you the risks for doing longer surgeries under anesthesia.
If you are healthy with minimal risks this should pose no problem. However, if you have some risks such as heart disease, obesity, diabetes, history of a previous blood clot or other things, then lengthened time under anesthesia may not be the best choice for you.
Once again, I recommend a thorough discussion with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who can inform you of all the alternatives and risks of each procedure.
