Answer:
That is when you are removing excess skin without replacing the belly button and underlying muscles. It is different from a tummy tuck where with a tummy tuck you are replacing the belly button. You are also removing the excess skin and also moving muscles and stitching them into different places. Again, it is removing excess skin without replacing the belly button. In a tummy tuck you remove the excess skin, you replace the belly button and you also are altering the underlying muscles.
