Question:
I am female, 56 years old, with an apple-shaped body. Most of my weight is in my abdomen. I have been trying to lose weight for several years unsuccessfully. Can I get most of this fat removed from liposuction and then undergo abdominoplasty? I am in excellent health besides the abdominal fat.
Answer:
The answer to your question is yes. This is actually probably the best way to go about your procedures since you may get enough improvement with just the liposuction alone and then if you are not completely satisfied with the results of the liposuction alone you can proceed with a more extensive surgery which produces more scarring.
