Question:
Your Photo Gallery of before and after pictures of liposuction is helpful. I can really see what to expect. I am interested in Liposculpture using laser. Does this result in much scarring?
Answer:
The scarring from Liposculpture using laser is very minimal. The incisions that are used to access the subcutaneous fat and the under surface of the skin are very small, from between 2 mm to 0.5 cm. These should fade with time and become very inconspicuous; however, there is no guarantee that this will occur. Occasionally, even though these scars are very small, they can become red or widened or become bumpy. This can be treated easily if that does occur though.
