Question:
I am nearly six months post-op from my hair transplant. There is some new growth occurring in the frontal area but it is really thin and sparse. Will this get any thicker in time? I am worried that it will continue to be this thin and just grow longer.
Answer:
Most likely you will continue to get continued growth. Yes, those hairs that are just beginning to grow will get longer and as they get longer the density of the transplanted hair will appear normal. However, in addition to the hairs that are present growing longer, you should also obtain new hairs which you do not see at the present moment.
You have a lot to look forward to and I expect that your procedure will continue to improve for up to a year and a half.
