Question:
I have had breast implants for several years now. I think they are too big and I am interested in exchanging them for a smaller size. My breasts have also begun to sag some. If I get a breast lift at the same time as an exchange will that help to ensure a good result given that I am going to a smaller size? Is this possible?
Answer:
Most likely if you go to a smaller size a lift will be needed; however, that is not absolutely true depending upon different variables such as your amount of excess skin that you have, the amount of droopiness you have and the quality of your skin.
In going down from one size it is possible that you do not need a lift. However, you need to be seen by a qualified plastic surgeon to assess your options.
